Alphabet Rug

2010-01-07-rug.jpg

A soft place to get down on the floor is essential for kids. But if loud colors and patterns clash with your decor, check out this Alphabet Rug.

It's got all the ABCs but isn't childish looking. The pale grey background and playful letters is a great balance between whimsical and understated. It comes in a variety of sizes. You can find it here.

Also check out the walls in the photo. We love the idea of using maps as wallpaper.

What a gorgeous, cheerful room. It makes me happy just looking at it!

Love this room! Land of Nod also has a number rug with numbers 1-10. I might get the number rug but both are so cute, I can't decide!

Cute rug, but I'd really like to know where those hanging globe pendant lamps came from!

Those look like old globes rather than lamps.

Who can look at the rug? The map wall is inspired.

It looks like the hanging globes are just the inflatable globes...found alot in the summer and always on ebay. They can't be heavy at all the support is minimal in this picture. Beautiful Room.......

I KNEW I should have bought that old globe @ the flea mkt last week. It could be hanging from my ceiling right now!

Does anyone know where I could find those stacking suitcases? What a great idea instead of buying even more shelves. Especially the smaller sized ones on the shelves and on top of the pile. Thanks.
