Hamburger Phone

When we were a teen, our best friend had the lips phone, our neighbor had the Snoopy phone and we had the Private Phone (Remember the jingle? "Your calls are all private, now so is your phone. I had a Coke Can phone that I hated. You had to turn it just right to be able to hear...those little holes were hard to see!

I bought this phone a couple of months ago and when i plugged it in I was plagued with a crazy scratching and beeping noise. I had to return it because i couldn't hear anything! It was sad because this phone is just so cool!

1) I like how the ultra glamourous older sister has two typical 80s nerd siblings. Wasn't there a little girl that looked like that nerd on every tv show/movie made in that era?

2) It's getting harder to find things that do this these days, but it made me feel good that I was 1 when that commercial aired.
