A Simple Birth Announcement

2008-12-03-announcement2.jpg
All you need to make this simple announcement are blank white cards (we chose flat cards with rounded edges), a stamp that says "Welcome" or something similar, envelopes (we chose cream), and a favorite photo of your new little one.

The cards can be all ready to go minus the photo and details of the birth. You can use your home printer to print the info. To make it even easier, we used photo stickers from Martha Stewart at Kodak Gallery. You can choose different borders or choose borderless and a black and white photo for a more elegant look. At only $3.99 for 30 stickers, you can make a whole bunch.

Picture stickers! Great idea! I think I'll use that for our holiday cards. Your daughter is adorable, and I've always loved that quote.

Urboo- we got ours at Paper Presentation on 18th Street in packs of 25. If you're in NYC, you can stop off at City Bakery next door for a pretzel croissant! If not, they have an online shop. Another good online shop for paper- Paper-Source.
