For fans of Spell with Flickr, here's a sophisticated way to display the alphabet, spell your child's name, your family's name or a word that's special to you. We found two companies that sell black and white or sephia photographs of letters formed in nature and architecture, but we also think this could be a fun project to undertake yourself.

Canadian-based Alphabet Photography sells 4"x6" sepia-toned prints of letters for $4 each (Canadian). Enter a word or name in their creation bar and keep changing letters until you're satisfied.
Alphabets and Architecture is more expensive at $20/letter, but they do offer framing as an option and have a slightly larger gallery of letters from which to choose. Their photos are available as either black and white or sepia.
Why not start taking your camera with you on family outings and put your own and your children's eyes to work searching out letters in the landscape? We'd love to see the results if you do.
I have a great poster with these kind of images for the alphabet. I think it's much more creative and beautiful to see the letters in things around you!

This is cool, thanks for the great idea! I just bought my last name from Alphabet Photography. I also like the Alphabets and Architecture but the price difference is huge. For my 5 letter last name, it cost me $30 with Alphabet Photography... it would have costed me $100 with the Alphabet and Architecture! I found a frame on line from the Pottery Barn, and I can't wait to get the photos! Thanks for the tip, both sites have beautiful photography, I love them both. - Amy
