Baby Art 3D Hand and Foot Prints

2008-06-13-baby art 3D foot.jpg
Those little keepsake baby footprints/handprints have come a long way. For a while, the MOMA footprint has been our fav, but this really caught our eye. Baby Art, the creation of Christophe Verlinden, delivers something a little different than what we're used to seeing.

The Baby Art Kit comes with a soft impression material and plaster to fill it up once you've molded it around baby's hand or foot. It looks pretty simple and it's safe. You can watch the instructional video here. They also offer more traditional kits, belly kits, and frames.

You can also create a full cast like the above and mount them on the natural wood base that comes with it.

Baby Art is made in Belgium, but you can buy it online in the US at Secure Baby.com

i think that's creepy.

i haven't watched the video so i'm wondering how you can get your baby to not fuss while you take her cast.

my comment above was for the 3D hand and foot model. apparently it's best to do it when baby is asleep...
