Candy Alphabet Art

For kids, candy is serious business. Most of our childhood outings involved procuring candy of some sort. Hess for Lemonheads and Cherry Clans. Woolworths for Necco Wafers and Bottle Caps. Piano lessons only made tolerable by a dish of anise and cinnamon candies. These candy alphabet paintings really brought us back.

We had fun looking at which candy this artist chose for each letter (York Peppermint Patties of course!). She sells the original paintings for $50 in her Etsy shop, Bishop Art. Many have already sold, but perhaps you could convo her to beg her to make prints available. Or be inspired and turn the idea into your own art or photo project with your children's favorite candy.

Inspiring, I need to buy wood...should I learn how to cut it down to size or buy it already cut?
