Etsy Scavenger: Holiday Cards by Chickpea Designs

It's getting a little late for sending out those holiday cards, but you still have time! Chickpea designs will design your digital card and then email you the file so you can print them right away and print as many as you need.

We really like the fact that the designs are fresh and unique and not your typical photo postcard.

All you need to do is place your order, select the card size, and email your wording and photo. In return you'll get a hi-res jpeg file from which to print as many cards as you like. You supply the envelopes and have the cards printed anywhere they print photos- CVS, Target.

Take a peek at the choices, or have a custom card made over at her Etsy shop. Her blog is also one of our favorite reads.

I don't think Dec 15th means "it's getting late" to send holiday cards! In fact, I appreciate receiving them a bit closer to the actual holiday, versus the "Christmas card" we received that was postmarked Nov 28th! But I digress...

Cute cards... but should the husbands' names be listed first? I don't believe that's in line with proper stationery etiquette, which says the wife's name gets first billing in a list all family member's names.

Not that anyone HAS to follow old school etiquette anymore, but stationery professionals should probably know it.
