Fabric Panel Wall Art

2008-07-22-fabric art.jpg If you're looking for a quick and easy way to create some small or large scale art for the nursery or any other spot in your home, nothing could be easier than stretching a panel of fabric to hang on the wall. Here's exactly how you do it...

If you can wrap a present, you can do this project. All you need are four lengths of wood frame. (These are intended for stretching canvas and the corners fit together) Iron the fabric of your choice, and make sure it's a little bigger than the frame. Then wrap each side around and use a staple gun to secure. That simple really.

This tip comes from Jessica over at How About Orange. Her entire apartment (from which the photo above was taken) has been showcased before over at AT Chicago so you may want to check that out.

Or you could buy a length of Marimekko fabric that's already set up as a wall hanging--you can buy the hardware for it too.
