the photos and clips look great, but the person who did it says on their blog that they had to take them down because it caused the edges to curl. Not cool for family photos.

The clips would likely scratch the delicate photos. This is a much better project for *copies* of old family photos, with the originals safely tucked away away from damaging moisture, acidic paper, and sunlight (like in a fireproof box or bank lock box).
