Good Questions: French Alphabet Poster

2008-09-24-frenchalpha.jpg

Madhu wrote us hoping to get some good leads on some art for her son's room: I would like to get a graphic French alphabet poster for my DS' room. Any suggestions? All the ones I have found are too textbook like.

Oui! We do have a suggestion and we're hoping Ohdeedoh's ever-resourceful readers have even more.

In almost every way we think this poster fits the bill - it's the alphabet, it's French, it's graphic and it's beautiful. The only downside we see is that you have to have it shipped from France. It's available in a limited edition in two colors and two sizes, 12" x 16" for 29€ or 20" x 28" for 59€.

A much cheaper alternative with a vintage feel is this 20" x 28" decoupage/wrapping paper ($4.50) which you could frame.

Readers, have you come across any French alphabet posters that might fit the bill for Madhu?

affiche abécédaire
is another good search term. Canadian educational sites should have some options.
