Kid-Friendly Concert Posters

Who doesn't love a good rock poster? We still have ours from the Purple Rain tour and Depeche Mode 101 that have become great memorabilia from our younger years. While the kiddies may be too young to attend the musical extravaganza that is the rock concert, they can still appreciate a kick-butt poster.

More than just silk screen gems, the modern rock poster is truly an artistic beauty that looks just as much as home on the wall of a club or coffee shop as it will in your child's room. We've rounded up ten kid-friendly concert posters that are sure to be a hit.

Fleet Foxes by The Silent Giants, $25

GREAT idea! Now I know what to do with some of the old gig posters I have rolled up in tubes in the closet. . .

Just framed the 2009 Sasquatch poster from Invisible Creature; anything from these guys is amazing too. http://www.invisiblecreature.com/store/product_detail.php?id=133

I went to that Fillmore YYY's show. Wish I had saved the poster...this is a good idea!

Heh. It's kinda hilarious that a kid might potentially have a poster of FOTC's "Albi, the Racist Dragon" in their room.

lol -
"mama, who's Har Mar SuperStar"

"oh, just some chubby balding man that gyrates shirtless picking out hotties in the crowd to sing to - that's how I met your father!"

Love me some Har Mar

I have no intention of having children anytime even remotely soon. But I've always thought my massive collection of gig posters would go perfectly in a kid's room when they no longer fit in a future "adult" home . . .

Yes! I decorated our nursery with concert posters -- a Wilco poster from a show in Madison featuring a badger and a Calexico poster from a show in Chicago featuring a cowboy on a horse. I think they work great as kid's art -- graphic, fun, and with a more interesting story than your average cartoon imagery.

We have an old REM poster that we're saving for the playroom. Funny to see this post now.

Love band posters in kid's rooms. We have the Wilco Shadow Puppet one in my daughter's playroom.
