Kid-friendly WPA Posters

A few years ago we featured WPA posters about books and reading, but the WPA produced posters on a wide variety of themes many with strong kid-appeal both in content and colorful, graphic style. See some we've picked out below the jump.

We started our browsing at a posters, prints and maps website called Rainfall that has a slew of WPA posters in a variety of sizes. For example, the Keep Your Teeth Clean poster above comes in 8.5x11 for $8 or 11x14 for $12.

eBay is another good source for reproduction WPA posters. eBay store, Zazzle, is a place to start and they even print some on canvas.

In October, 500 of the best WPA posters were compiled into the book Posters for the People: The Art of the WPA. A companion website will soon be selling prints of the posters.

oh I love these they are all so wonderful. I'm putting the book on my need list and thinking it would be so fun to decorate my studio around some of these

I think they sell prints as well, and I'm not sure how big the digital images are. But it might be good enough to print out for a smallish image for hanging in your kiddo's room or elsewere at home.
