The problem with most nursery art is that once your child starts having his or her own opinions about art (read: starts to object to the "baby pictures" in their room), you're stuck with a piece of art that won't fit in with the rest of your decor. Not so with Me Art -- personalized original artwork based on photos of your child -- which can easily transition to anywhere else in your home.

You provide the photograph (or photographs, depending on the style you choose) and designer Jeannie Richardson does the rest. These giclée prints are available on either archival watercolor paper or premium artist-grade archival canvas, stretched on 1.5-inch heavy-duty stretcher bars and ready to hang. Prices start at $285.
There is a wide range of styles and sizes to choose from. See the full range and online gallery at Me Art.
ooohhh...I can see this as a good gift for the family who wants to decorate their nursery/childs room but is on a budget.

It’s a good idea but I find it too expensive, it can be done by yourself. You can find in the Web many Photoshop tutorials about how to make pop-art style photos and then you can print them in canvas for $60 or less.

gelena - where can one print them on canvas? Is this an online service that you've found, or at a local print shop? Thanks!

I agree. It can be done more cheaply. But I think for someone who doesn't want to go through the hassle of learning Photoshop to do a project like this (I can see my friends begging me to just 'do it for them' I kind of like that there is someone out there willing to do it for the masses! I love those two above the twin beds especially!
