Philadelphia artist Eleanor Grosch has designed for Skip Hop and Urban Outfitters, among others, but we're rather taken by the screenprints she creates for her own shop, Pushmepullyou Design. They have a kind of cool seventies vibe and are primarily nature inspired in the tradition of Charley Harper.
Eleanor is a hands-on kind of gal and screenprints each of her designs by hand. Her prints are made in small editions of 50-100 so you're getting a bit of a collector's item with each purchase (most are about $40).
She also is conscious of the environmental impact of running a business, even a small one, and takes a few earth-friendly measures like using soy-based cleansers and emulsion removers, sending out work in uncoated cardboard mailers which can be easily recycled by the buyer, not owing a car, being as energy efficient as she can and making donations to the World Wildlife Fund. Additionally, 100% of the proceeds from select prints go to charity.

Oh, I love her site! I've long considered ordering one of her prints. Maybe when we move into the new house later this summer, I'll find the wall that needs one of these designs.
