Can vintage be modern? We think so. In our home, we love mixing vintage pieces like an Underwood Typewriter or old film projector with modern furniture. It keeps things from feeling too sterile or showroomy. So, why not in the nursery?
We found this vintage ABC sign over at Jack and Friends .
They've got a ton of other metal signs including this tin sign, entitled, "Follow Me."
This Enamelware Baby Mug is another good find on the site.
Since the items on this site are replicas and not real vintage, we do feel a little bit like we're cheating. But hey, it's not expensive, and it's a good place to start for some inspiration, and then if you decide you want the real thing- head over to Ebay.
Love the ABC sign; it's just a shame about the gratuitous apostrophe!

Actually, an apostrophe can properly be used for a plural when the term being pluralized ends in a capital letter. Gregg's Manual in the mid-1990s used this format, though this is probably an area where style sheets vary.
