There was a summer when we were in Junior High when all we wanted to do was laze around in front of the tv with our sisters watching The Price Is Right, The Young & the Restless and The Bold & the Beautiful. If we were a soap opera our name might have been The Listless & the Apathetic. Our father, who worked nearby, would come home from lunch, stand in front of the tv and say, "Wouldn't you rather be outside? It's a beautiful day." Some days we'd grunt and stare at the ceiling until he left, but occasionally we would meander into the light and, gosh darn it, he was right - it was a beautiful day. Maybe we needed a visual reminder like this Go Outside and Get Some Fresh Air printable taped up around the house (and on the tv!).
