Sisters Suzie and Cindy Yoon recently launched YoonKids, a collection of wall art for modern kids. The current collection includes depictions of little girls as painter, surfer, astronomer... (Little boy characters will be available later this year).

The key is each piece can be customized - you choose the hair, skin, and background color to suit your child and her nursery. The site easily allows you to preview the result before purchasing.

YoonKids also offers a line of animal prints in stylized form called Yoonies, and one called Silhouettes, a series of nature prints (top pic). And like the little girl prints, Yoonies and Silhouettes also can be customized.

Each piece is made through a giclée printing process.

Water-resistant canvas is stretched over heavy-duty frames and finished with an ecologically friendly coating that protects against sun and water damage.

Each piece comes in two sizes - 9"x12" for $85, or 18"x18" for $150. You can even add your child's name and birthday for $10.

A portion of YoonKid's profits will be donated to Reading Is Fundamental (RIF).

YoonKids is so awesome and the website is amazing! You can personalize each piece to fit your childÂ’s personality. I love it because it does not stick to the traditional gender roles that most kid art displays. This is modern day art that goes hand-in-hand with today's society. Girls can be anything from rock stars to scientist. This is fabulous art that should be in every little girlÂ’s room! I absolutely love it!
