Odosketch
Rainy/Snowy Day Fun

Maybe this would be less impressive to someone who can actually sketch, but we've become addicted to using Odosketch's digital sketchpad which magically makes our scribbles and doodles appear, dare we say it, artistic and, more so, we've become mesmerized watching animated re-creations of illustrations made by others.

If you've ever opened up your computer Paint application and let your kids try their hand, we think they'll be really awed with the beautiful strokes they can create on Odosketch which much more closely mimic an actual sketch pad with its "intentional imperfections." You can create a user account and save their drawings as well.

For the artistically curious child (or babies who are spellbound by moving images) the playback capability will have their rapt attention as they choose the sketches of others to watch being made from empty canvas to finished masterpiece. And there really are some masterpieces here - but also lots of amateurish doodles so there's no need to be intimidated. (Note: we have not screened it for adult content so you may want to look into that).

We're filing Odosketch away as a great rainy day or snow day activity (and wondering when the iPhone app will be out!).
