Bird Soap Dispenser

2007_05_07_birdsoap.jpgBar soap can be slippery and pumps can be hard for small hands to grip.

Here’s a soap dispenser that is as cute as it is useful. Simply tip the bird’s head forward and soap runs out his beak. It can be mounted with screws or you can use suction cups - freeing up valuable counter space either way.

The dispenser could also be used for shampoo in the tub. For little ones averse to hand-washing, befriending this bird might be just the trick.

The clear version can be purchased for $16.95 here.

Additionally, the orange and turquois birds can be purchased here for $16.99.

I actually bought one of these a while back and, I have to say, I wish it performed as well as it was cute. The beak/spout kept clogging up and I never got a decent amount at one shot——I would strongly recommend diluting whatever you put in it. And don't be surprised if you have to trim the beak a little because the pour "spout" is incredibly tiny. As for stability, it fell off the wire stand/holder more than once. Still, this was just my experience with it. Worth $16.99? Not from my experience.

I love how the clear one almost looks like a little snowman.
