Gelli Baff

2007.05.21.nursery.gellibaff1.jpg

This is possibly the most genius product ever invented for a kids. Run a shallow bath, add in a packet of Gelli Baff, and what you end up with is a tub of goo, in colors like Orange Gloop, Lava blast red, Magic Swamp green, and Blue Lagoon.

It is completely safe for kids - the main ingredient is an absorbent polymer, but don't worry, it is completely safe for kids to play around in. It is similar to what is used in disposable diapers to absorb liquid. Best of all...

... is what happens when the kids are done playing. A second sachet in the packet, thrown in the water, magically dissolves all of the goo.

We couldn't find a US distributer, but we did find someone who will ship it from the UK for just £5.00 per box, plus £5.00 P&P.

There is no way I'd let my kids play around in absorbent polymer:

Agreeing with kerflop on this one :-|
Cool idea, but not a risk I am willing to take.

Great in theory but no way would I let my daughter bathe in this.

If bubble baths can give little girls urinary tract infections, I shudder to think what this could do.
