A friend of mine (mommy of now one-year-old Sam) recently told me about the Moby bath spout cover: "I freaking love this thing. We had the hardest time finding a spout cover to fit our fixture, and Moby is the best." Here's why:
MOBY is a spout cover that brightens up the bath while protecting baby's head from bumps in the tub. Its sleek design includes an adjustable fin strap that fits snugly on most tub spouts, and a tail that's also a handy hook, so MOBY can hang around when bath time's done.
Anyone else use a spout cover for baby bath time?
You can find the Moby bath spout cover at Skip Hop for $13.
I read reviews that said a lot of people had trouble fitting the Moby over their faucets so I went with the Flo spout cover from Boon, and I love it! It's cool looking and it makes the water come out in a big arc that is perfect for rinsing out shampoo.

they better sell this on Diapers.com soon, bcs I am not paying extra shipment to get it from their web site :-)

I got the Boon cover only to be SO sadly disappointed when we realized that the shower plunger thingy was on the back of our faucet instead of the front. It looks like this one is designed that way as well, so they won't fit or stay on our faucet. Has anyone else had this problem and found a good faucet cover that works?

Sam's mom here. We had purchased several spout covers that didn't fit but Moby goes on and off easily, fitting the weirdly pronounced plungy thing on our Moen fixture. I found it in-store at Baby Gap, so we didn't have to spring for shipping.

There should be a problem-solving webpage with schematic diagrams of all the different bathtub faucet configurations and then a list of which faucet covers fit with each kind!

I had the Boon Flo and found it difficult to get clean-the mildew is locked in the soft plastic. After months of trying to fix it, we tossed it and got Moby-much happier now! And it's on amazon and cheap.
pxlchk1-It's funny, we had a hard time finding spout covers that worked for faucets w/the diverter in the front! And yes, moby works for our faucet and probably not for you. I remember a hippo, though, that we couldn't use.

Our first faucet cover was the Boon Flo. We loved the design but we also had difficulty cleaning it. When the Moby came out I immediately bought one and we haven't been happier. It's really cute and way easier to maintain.

We ended up changing the faucet to one that could swing back against the wall. Problem solved.
