We are slowly babyproofing a bathroom, which means out with the lovely porcelain accoutrements, and in with the acrylic and child friendly stuff. Luckily, childproofing can be pretty cute, as evidenced by the Pisellino Cotton Swab Holder, designed by Stefano Giovannoni for Alessi.
We like that until you open this holder the swabs are hidden from view, but wonder if it takes two hands to get the holder open and then take the swabs out. Of course, that might also be a good thing, with a toddler in the house. There is also the problem of cute - is it cute enough for a kid's bathroom, but not so cute that they want to play with it as if it is a toy? The Pisellino Cotton Swab Holder comes in orange, yellow, and blue-green, and is $29.50.
