Sneak Peek: New Bath Toys from Boon Inc

2008-12-18-newboon.jpg

We have several Boon products in our household. We like them because they're thoughtfully designed, well-made and good looking. They're about to add to their already much-loved bathroom line and we couldn't resist sharing a sneak peek.

Four new products are coming your way:

If people come in all different shapes and sizes, why not rubber duckies? Boon calls these "odd ducks" and there are four to choose from.

While you scrub behind their ears, kids can scrub and squirt with Scrubbles which will come as an interchangeable set of three.

Water Bugs float and can be caught and scooped up with a mesh net.

Expect some seriously wrinkled skin. We're not sure your kids are going to want to get out of the tub they'll have so much fun playing with the floating ring toss Splat.

These products aren't on the Boon website yet, but the word on the street is they'll be available in stores soon.

So do we know if these are BPA-free. I've been wanting some bath toys for my toddler boys for a while, but they all just scream chemicals to me.

check this site and you can look up the toys you're considering. They're an independent lab that tests toys and kid products for all the major nasties.

You can see all the bath toys at a glance here. (click past the signup, it's not mandatory)

That said, my 2-year-old is perfectly happy with a bunch of old tupperware/pitchers/measuring cups in the bath, so you don't have to have toys at all.

CUTE! It's such a different world from when my 15 year old was born and now. I'm glad I get to be pregnant one more time and have fun with stuff like this. :)
