A while back a reader wrote us looking for a non-kid-themed shower curtain and we did our best to come up with some ideas. DwellStudio's new shower curtains (in many of their popular prints) would have fit the bill perfectly. Below you can also catch a glimpse of their new storage bins - perfect as hampers, toy "boxes" or catch-alls.
They've introduced rugs incorporating motifs from their signature prints like "Gio" shown below. The rugs are hand-tufted New Zealand wool and will be available in two sizes (3' x 5' or 5' x 8').

These colorful animal banks even look sturdy enough to be used as bookends.
In addition to the new "Geometry" print we looked at yesterday, they've added Snapdragon to their collection of patterns. Both new additions resemble hand-drawn illustrations (inspired by the work of Enzo Mari, Paul Cox, and Bruno Munari) - a sophisticated departure from Dwell's usual graphic style.
DwellStudio's not just moving out of the bedroom, they're moving out of the house entirely with their backpacks for kids on the go.
The 2009 DwellStudio collection is not yet available for sale, but you can check prices, see more details and set your bookmarks at DesignPublic.
Hi! I'm new to ohhdeedoh, so this had probably been asked before... but can someone source the featured crib in the dwell studio pictures? so simple and cute!

Hi, Slinky.
The crib in the pictures here is the Oeuf Sparrow. We have it in white and I love it. It's a bit lower than other cribs making it easier to reach down to get baby in and out!

Cute stuff, but I don't like elephants with their trunks down. They're supposed to be up for good luck.

That actually varies from culture to culture. The trunk up being good luck is actually a fairly recent, European idea.
To some cultures, the trunk up would evoke an angry elephant.
