By all accounts the DwellStudio For Target nursery colection has been very popular. We first saw the new DwellStudio designs online but checked them out in person for the first time last night.

There are two new crib bedding collections - Elephants and Birds. What we really appreciate about the Target line is the fact that you can buy crib sheets, bumpers, crib skirts, blankets and mini-comforters separately. This is not an option for the regular DwellStudio lines.
You can see the bedding collection here, but it seems like there are a few items (the blankets) that we saw only in the store. We've seen through nursery tours that many of our readers have purchased DwellStudio For Target bedding. Please share your experience with everyone in the comments.
I also noticed that at my Target they have Dwell Studio children's bedding now too. Maybe it's always been at other locations but it is definitely new to my Target.

We purchased the dots collection last spring when our son was born and it has been great. I especially liked the fact that we could buy the pieces as separates, since we had decided that we were not going to use a bumper.
We also had one Dwell studio sheet (not Target) that was given to us that we use as well. There is definitely a quality difference between the two ( the Dwell Studio one is a little softer), but the target ones are just fine and soft enough. Plus, the price can not be beat for the fitted sheets.

The 3-pack of flannel receiving blankets are by far the best swaddling blankets. They are slightly larger and more durable than any other receiving blanket we have. We received a pack as a gift when our son was born. Since then we've bought two more sets (newborns go through a lot of blankets). I recommend them to anyone looking for a good swaddle blanket.

I actually really hated their receiving blankets! I thought they were really cheaply made and smelled AWFUL out of the package. Like so toxic that even after washing them I couldn't bring myself to put them near baby!

I loved the swaddling blankets, too. They were better quality than the BRU ones I received as gifts. And much cuter! I didn't notice a toxic smell...

We've bought the blanket and fitted sheets. The blanket is very soft and stretchy ( I swaddle the little one with it on cold nights). And the sheet is holding up well in the wash.

We have the dots fitted crib sheet and blue giraffe blanket, both from last year's collections. the sheet is nice enough and you can't beat the price for something with modern visual appeal (they're on sale at my target this week for $9). If you want a softer sheet, flannel or organic would be the way to go. I love how soft and big the giraffe applique blanket is, and so does my son.

I have the elephant blanket pictured on the lower right. It's a little small but soft, warm and cute. I also bought a few fitted sheets, which are great. I have to agree with the other people who say that the receiving blanket is the best for swaddling! They are soft, big and perfect for making baby into a burrito roll. Definitely get several. You'll always want to have a clean one on hand.

My daughter (15 months) just transitioned to the toddler room of her daycare and we needed to bring in a nap blanket and fitted sheet for her cot. We bought the elephant and birds sheet and mini comforter and its worked out great for her naps at school. The comforter was really stiff when we first bought it but after a few washings it became really soft.
