Pottery Barn Kids Star Wars Bedding and Decor

starwarsbeddingPB-1.jpgStar Wars, nothing but Star Wars, if only you could bar wars, let this one stay… Our brother actually had Star Wars bedding back in the 70s (it was itchy polyester), so seeing Pottery Barn's version made us quite nostalgic. We admit, all of this stuff is cheesy but it is so ingrained in us and part of our childhood, we can't help but like it.

  • The vintage artStar Wars Luke Skywalker Poster, $199.00, may be a bit too much for a child's room -- but we can certainly think of several teens (and adults) who would love this.
  • Finally, the Galaxy LED Art, $299.00, features LED lights on a space scene. It's 3' x 4', so it covers a nice area.

None of this is inexpensive, but the die hard fan may not care.

While these are really cool sheets, why not just get the original ones this design is based on?

I have to say I growned when I got the new catalog. I don't care if they are "vintage look" or not. I don't want branded junk in my kid's bedroom and I found it fairly depressing that PB gave in to the junk-design pressure.

I had these exact same sheets when I was growing up. I loved them! I even had the matching blanket.

I really do not understand the fervent opposition to this type of stuff. If your kid loves it, then who cares?

Your kids don't tell you how you must decorate your bedroom or personal space.

I don't think that PB design goes far enough with Star Wars. You need a giant Vader, a Yoda mural, and a bunch of hobby-kit ships flying all over the room.

If these sheets came in king size, I would SO be buying them for a friend of mine. Who is not a kid.

My husband sent me this link...he would probably also like a set for our room...I prefer my patterns to stop with polka dots and stripes, but I dig the LED space scene!
