Tented Beds
Ohdeedoh in Europe - Paris

lit-de-princesse.jpgMarie Claire has a feature on kids rooms designed by adults that include this romantic canopy bed made by suspending a lightweight sheet from the ceiling. A satin duvet cover and wall sconces give it a clichéd but romantic "lit de princesse" (princess bed) feel that creates a soothing semi-cocoon for a little girl's sweet dreams...

indian-tent.jpgThis "Indian tent" is more gender-neutral, a Parisian vision of exoticism that includes a tent that can close to make a play-space or simply offer a bit of privacy, plus bamboo beds from Caravane, a hanging lantern and flower garlands to give it a festive feel despite the cave-like color of the walls.

A sheet? Looks like some sort of a muslin curtain to me... would love to find it though (wish they listed sources!) -- the grey/silver with the satiny lavender is a beautiful combo..
