It's the unique shape and velocro that make wrapping so easy in this swaddler. It's made of 100% cotton with a chenille lining and is machine washable. It retails for $48 and you can find it here.
Cute idea, but honestly, wouldn't it be more simple just to get the midwives at the hospital to teach you a good swaddling technique? I'm just saying...

I'm generally anti-baby-gadgetry, but I'm all for swaddlers. I had excellent swaddling technique, but there were those nights/days when I was just too tired/out of it/uncoordinated and was very grateful for my little yellow $20 velcro swaddler. It was a sad day when my gordito grew out of it, well before he was done being swaddled. (They need to make these in bigger sizes.)

Actually, now that I think about it, I can see how this would be useful particularly if you have people helping you with putting the baby to sleep. I never could teach Mum the hang of swaddling. But as for me, the DIY method worked so it's just as well.
