Found: Toddler Bed With Stuffed Animal Storage

092109-toddlerbed.jpg We've spent several hours looking for storage ideas for stuffed animals that don't take up any extra floor space or involve a net. We found exactly what we were looking for in our own archives, click through for details on this Ikea hack that's worth revisiting...

Nancy over at Dabbled, along with the handiwork of her husband put together this storage plus sleeping arrangement. Most beds utilize the under mattress area for extra storage and that's all fine and well, but when it comes to storing your stuffed animals, no child is too keen on keeping them in boxes under their bed (how would they breathe?!). We love this on board storage idea that allows a smaller mattress to be used until the switch to a larger one, is ready to be made. It's perfect for plush, books, toys and more!

Check out more photos and details from our previous post, found here!

Thanks Nancy!

We use a couple of Kapsule Kid Chairs (we got ours from Plushpod). They are plastic bubble chairs with an opening in the back for throwing toys into. Perfect for us.

We used a shoe organizer mounted onto the back of the bedroom door. It worked perfectly and was a great way to repurpose something we weren't using.
