High and Low: Alex and Badger Bed

highlow-alexbadger.jpgYou love the look of Ducduc's Alex bed -- it's great lines, the bold pop of the orange contrasted against the white -- but your wallet isn't quite as enamored. We feel you; which is why we were pleased as punch when we discovered the Badger bed.

While not exactly the same as Ducduc's Alex, $1925, the Badger seems to be a fitting tribute. The Badger, $244, features a dry erase and magnetic headboard, storage space underneath and the cool vibe the Alex seems to exude.

The Alex bed costs $1350. It's the upholstered headboard which costs an additional $575.

Badger has no trundle while DucDuc has. I think that it's an important factor when you buy a twin bed for many years to come...
