The City Bed by Gautier

There's something about the City Bed that has us intrigued. Perhaps it's the way it expands from a twin to a full bed? Maybe it's the overall effect of the bed, once it has the side storage compartment attached. It reminds us very much of the homemade birch bed featured in the Chicago Reader Nest issue.

Whatever it is, we think the City Bed by Gautier has potential. Without all the furniture accessories and with some snazzy bedding, the City Bed could be down right cute -- and any piece of furniture that will stay with your child several years, is A-OK in our book.
