We noticed lots of loft beds cropping up in childrens' rooms. Vertical is the way to go when you're short on floorspace.

It doesn't look like the trend is going away anytime soon. Here are a few more photos of loft bed ideas. Do you have a loft bed in your child's room?

That second one doesn't even have a safety rail! These scare me as sleeping spaces for children, especially the ones that look so much higher than standard bunk beds.

Where did that first picture come from? How is the bed supported on the outside corner?

The pink room scares me. Both beds are too high for comfort, they aren't worth the risk of injury. I think they would still be adorable lower and with a safety rail on the pink bed.

This is so scary....the pink room made my stomach churn! That is a long way down...most of us worry about our kids falling out of grounded beds and push them against a wall....even a safety rail. I would not sleep at all.
