Bloom Alma Urban Foldable Crib

2009-06-04-bloom.jpg

These days, everything and everyone is going smaller and smaller. If you've got a small nursery, a shared nursery, or a nursery/guest room/office combination, listen up. We just found this foldable crib by Bloom. Yes, foldable. Jump below to see how small the Alma Urban folds up...

Is that amazing? It folds up as small as a pack and play. The Alma is suitable for newborns through 2 years. What else do we love about this foldable crib? It requires no tools for assembly, is easy to fold, has lockable castors for easy transport, is made of solid birch wood and low-VOC finishes. And one more thing -- we think it looks really nice. The Bloom Alma is available in white and green. Read more about it here.

This is a great idea! A little bit expensive but it would look nice in my studio apartment for when the baby comes. Hmm... I might have to get this.

There is no way a two-year-old would fit in that thing.

is it also just the size of a pack n play? i love the idea of this but it does look a little too small.

I'm sorry, did they say affordable?

I'd argue that an $800 crib is anything but.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that they've ditched their normal readership in favor of the uber-rich?

You can buy this at giggle for $400. I don't think the mattress folds, though.
