Smaller Cards: Do You Moo?

2007.04.16.nursery.moo.jpgMinicards for our minis! Moo cards are fully customizable personal cards, and we think they would be great for parents. We have blogged about playdate cards, but Moo Cards take it two steps further. One side is photo, the other is data, and the photo side is where it gets fun, because it is your photos, as many as you want to upload, that make up the graphic side of the card.

It is so easy to do! Upload your photos to Flickr, and then sign into Moo, and their step by step ordering system helps you crop your photos, either vertically or horizontally, to fit the moo card size. Moo cards are smaller...smaller than a regular business card, so they don't take up much space.

The other side is also personalized - choose your font, choose your font color, and decide what you want to put on it. Your name, your child's name, a phone number, email address. How handy would it be to give your child's teacher your contact information on a card that had your child's photo on the other side? Or other parents, for play dates, or your friends and relatives, to show off new pictures?

2007.04.16.nursery.moo2.jpgA search on Flickr using the tag 'moo card' turns up tons of wonderful examples. And of course, if you need a stylish way to carry them around, check out these great Moo Card holders, on Etsy.

Just £9.99 / $19.99/ €14.99 gets you a pack of 100 Moo Cards. Do you Moo?

I love moo cards. We made a set for our son with photos of his favorite things from around the house, as a sort of fun matching card game. He loves them!

I made moo cards with my daughter's picture and our contact info of the other side. I use them when I meet new moms. The moms are usually wowed by the cards. I love them.

I love that they come in a slick box, too - I know that is bad, and I am succumbing to marketing, but the slick box, along with the moo card that read 'yay! you're our new best friend!' are all plusses for me!

I love getting the cards with baby pictures on them!
