While shopping at Target for this week's household supplies, we were crushed by the onslaught of back-to-schoolers cruising for supplies. From pre-schoolers to co-eds, everyone was looking for just the right school supplies and accessories.
The SF Chronicle recently did a round up of some of the more stylish academic supplies retail has to offer.
We like this lunch pack with individual containers. Keeps foods separate and fresh and cuts down on the number of bags we use.

I noticed that the SF article only gives you a number for a store that carries it. Here is the company site. It hasn't been updated to give you locations around the country yet, so here are places where you can buy it now:

i was interested in the lunch box item but the faqs on the lunchopolis website state that bpas are used in their plastic products. they simply say that current research shows that it safe to use in food containers. obviously, not everyone agrees with that - just something to be aware of...

I had the same thought when I saw those lunch containers -- that they probably have bpas.
At least the SF article showed SIGG bottles, which are safe for water (and other liquids). And you can sometimes find stainless steel sandwhich boxes etc. which I think would be much for food, albeit a good deal heavier.
