Blogging BHG: Child Friendly Issue

Lots of nursery-friendly stuff in the May issue of BHG! First up, a playroom. We know, we know, in small spaces, who has room for a playroom. But there are some great ideas to co-opt for a kid's room. Above, a gender-neutral red, blue and yellow color scheme. Cabinet doors are transformed with chalkboard paint.

Below, a smart solution for small spaces - a well organized cupboard with a murphy desk that folds down to serve as a crafts table, and folds up and out of the way when not in use!

There is a little Q & A in this issue regarding strategies for designing playrooms, kid's rooms, and nurseries. Below, a few expert suggestions:

Finally, while this isn't an article about nursery or nursery design, we thought this fun wall technique would be great in a kid's room! This wall is painted freehand, using basically just C's, dots, and little lines. Inspirational!
