Blogging Cookie Magazine: May 2007

The May issue of Cookie Mag gives us tips on how to frame photos and artwork in kids' rooms. One of the ideas is to affix a shelf or two at your child's eye level. For safety, it's suggested that plexiglass is used instead of glass, a good idea. This way your child can arrange and rearrange the frames to his own liking.

Although the low mounted shelf looks great, we have to admit the Orla Kiely wallpaper is what we were most interested in ogling.

Another great idea is to create a puzzle out of a large, graphic piece of art. Cut it into equal sections, frame each section and then hang the frames as though you're putting the puzzle back together. If you don't have a large piece of art ready and available, create one using the Rasterbator.

apologies for my insane grammar above. but yeah, the cheap ikea frames and some laser printing make for a pretty good result for less than 15 bucks.
