Ok, so maybe you're not headed to any exciting destinations this month. Cookie Magazine shows you how you can have an adventure in your own backyard. You can go high tech and project a movie onto a huge sheet. Or you can go old-fashioned and tell ghost stories. These pics from Cookie's website will inspire you:
We're guessing this handpainted canvas tent is gonna cost you, but maybe you can use some fabric paint on a white sheet to create something similar. Its exotic look will create an imaginative setting for slumber.
Here's a traditional straight-walled canvas tent. Transform your yard into a safari.
Check out the other tents and a complete listing of products used in the photographs here .
If you can't afford one of these fancy tents, we're pretty sure the kids won't mind any old tent. And if you don't have a yard, how about pitching right in the living room?
Magic! Although I doubt we can go for the Tibetan Tent, we can tell ghost stories in a regular tent pitched in our backyard... Cookie has some lovely ideas...

Branycbur: You can project in any white surface; just do not expect the same level of quality. A sheet is matte so the image will be paler with fewer details than if you project on a reflective surface. Screens are designed for that. But a shiny white foam core can do the job. They also suggested a projector make for outdoor projection. One of the many things you need to check out is if the projector is designed to work in a less dark environment and the sound features.
