The Fit Pregnancy Advisory Board evaluated each candidate based on categories including doctors, hospitals, doulas and midwives, breastfeeding success rates, birth and health risks, stroller-friendly trails and parks, and affordability to come up with the list.

So which cities ranked highest? Boston reigns supreme, followed by San Francisco, Minneapolis, Portland, Oregon and Omaha. Detroit came in last, behind Las Vegas and Memphis.
