Babies: The Movie

We love documentaries. This one follows four babies from birth and through their first year- each one born into a different part of the world: Japan, Mongolia, the U.S., and Namibia.

The trailer really has our interest piqued. It's obvious that even in very different cultures, babies do much of the same stuff that makes us smile. Enjoy the trailor! (it even has a Sufjan Stevens soundtrack).

So charming!
The Namibian babies are so precious and I loved the goat drinking the bath water of the baby from Mongolia! It's so true how baby-isms are universal!

Thank you Katschorr! That was driving me crazy! (Another annoying error - "loose" for "lose". ARGH!!)

I love this!

I'm from Namibia and raising my children in The Netherlands, in fact I wrote my masters thesis on raising Namibian children outside the "motherland". I hope it gets widespread release. It looks entertaining & it will probably show us how we're more alike than we sometimes think.

Thanks katschorr and tyir61 for pointing out the error in spelling- I guess everyone makes mistakes sometimes.

Since we're pointing out typos....there's also "enjoy the trailOr." :) Or is that an alternate spelling?

Want to say sth about this. I saw the trailer and love it. Fantastic!! can't wait to see it.
OK, the thing that i wanted to tell u guys is about Mongolian. This place is a countryside of our country. Yeah i'm from Mongolia. It's the countryside.I know that most foreign people think we don't have any tall buildings neither cars.Friend of my told me that one girl from India asked her if
she rides a horse to the school?! We cannot blame her on this, cuz most documentries and other resources just show this side of our country that people live in GER, ride horses,do not wash their faces,... I mean come on we're living in 21st century. HOw come we don't have cars and tall buildings. ok maybe i'm just overreacting. maybe people want to show the uniquiness of our countryside the real nature :) so in the end have to visit MONGOLIA, if you're traveler ,loves adventure and nature and so on... :)
