Organizing Books

2008-10-19-autumnbooks.jpg

Fall definitely has arrived. The trees around us have started to turn, there's a chill in the air and we sampled at least 7 different kinds of apples at the farmer's market. So while looking for craft ideas for the season, we came upon the idea of stocking the kids' bookshelf with autumn books.

We have a few holiday books in our collection that we read more often when that time of year rolls around, but we've never organized the childrens' bookshelves based on season. It's a fun idea, one we will try out this year.

Do Ohdeedoh readers do this?

I know this isn't the same as above, but they have super cute wooden book holders that you mount on the wall at Pottery Barn kids. A little spendy, but well worth it. Great to display the cute books.
