Originally created for professional writers and illustrators as a notebook, workbook and sketchbook in one, think.jot.draw notebooks are being co-opted by creative kids. The brainchild of New Jersey based illustrator and designer Leeza Hernandez (of Libby's Nursery Tour fame), these 104-page 6x9 paperbacks are filled with a combination of blank pages, lined pages, half and half, and thumbnail boxes to give kids lots of options to draw, tell stories, and journal.

There are some inspired details here - the bulk of the cover is blank, so that kids can really make this book their own, and there is space on the spine to write their name and the date, as a keepsake of their childhood creations.

We love anything that helps inspire creativity, either in our kids, or in us, and we see a lot of uses for think.jot.draw notebooks - creating comic books, journaling a trip, and planning projects. And at $8.95 each, we might just get one for ourselves, to use while planning our new nursery.
