We would've loved something like this when we were little. Tikatok lets kids publish their very own hardcover or softcover book complete with their own illustrations. And...their book could wind up on the Tikatok website.

It's free to sign up, and only about $20 per book. They also have special info for teachers and using Tikatok in the classroom.
What's different about Tikatok is the community on the website. Once you publish a book, you can find it on the website and friends and other readers can leave comments. We read some of the comments and they were pretty cute. What a great way to encourage your budding author.
