Tips for Photographing Kids

011910pics.jpgRaleigh photographer Sara-Anne shared some great tips for photographing your little ones on her blog. We love how she begins by saying that smiles aren't necessary for beautiful pictures, but to "focus on the eyes and let them tell a story..."

A few of her other tips:

• Have a conversation with the model first (if he or she is old enough) for more interesting pictures.

• Make sure to get down on their level

• Get up close

• Make sure the lighting is right. *Overcast is actually great for photos!

For more details on each of these tips, head over to Sara-Anne's blog, and if you need professional photos and you're in the Raleigh or Northern Virginia area- you're in luck.
