Well, according to Z Recommends, the World's Worst is Gerber Graduates Tossables Sippy Cup.
The other cups that don't make the grade include Kid Basix Safe Sippy and Avent Magic Cup. Find the full list here.
The top picks (for the baby and toddler division) include the Me-Me, Tilty, and Thinkbaby Trainer Cup. That complete list can be found here.
Tell us if they left anything out and thanks Z Recommends for the showdown!
Yay Tilty!! I love Tilty.

Really, sippy cups are another thing for the moms! I believe in the little glass baby food jars. They are great for first timers!

Yes, of course in the history of our species, sippy cups are completely unnecessary for babies and tots, but if they keep the parents the tiniest bit sane from not having to clean up spills all day and getting mad, frustrated, and upset at their kids, then I can't really be against them.

that's a great idea rkwpnw! my 1yo refuses the sippy cup but will happily drink out of my glass. i'm trying that today.

Life has alot less spills to clean up if cups and food are kept at the table and not toted around the house all day. No-spill sippy cups truly are not needed.
We used old-fashioned Tommy Tippee cups with weighted bottoms and then small juice glasses. A friend used real silver baby cups. (They can go in the dishwasher!)
When eating out, I ordered the kids' milk in to-go coffee cups with lids.
My kids' fabulous child care center also does without sippy cups. It's funny to see kids brought in every morning dragging sippies along...but as soon as the parents leave, the milk gets transfered to a regular cup and no one has a fit about it.

Heavy, small (cheap IKEA) glasses are what we use -- plastic cups are the worst because they tip.
We do have 1 AVENT magic cup (which failed the test) for stroller rides, or our SIGG bottles.

Of course they're not needed, but is your family perfect?
I don't judge other parents over something like a sippy cup. And I don't tell them to keep their kids at the table.
Different strokes.

My kids did well with these, but mostly used them in the car to avoid spills. I prefer the stackable ones like Tupperware or First Ones. They can be used as tumblers later, and I HATE having tons of mismatched cups in the cupboard. My granddaughter hates them, and will only drink from one when the lid is OFF. Too funny. She really just wants whatever I'm drinking, mainly water! She is one.

My son wouldn't drink from any sippy cup with valves. We removed the valves and tada! They're not "spill proof" now, but they slow the flow!

IICK this brings back bad memories, the inlaws bought a bunch of those sippy cups with the spill proof valves in them for when our son would come over. One day I went to get one to make a drink for him only to find that they had not realized you have to take out the spill proof valves and clean them and under them need I say more. The thought of it still makes me sick.......
