Video Update: Macy & Sam's Idea Paint Wall

080709-ideapaint.jpg We have been wanting to test out Idea Paint ever since we saw the dry-erase tree Shannon Jordan made for her daughter's room.

We wanted to know what the actual painting process was like and now we're more hooked than ever thanks to Macy and Sam's Idea Paint You Tube Video! It took us from "I'd like to try that someday," to "Holy Crap! It would entertain the kids while we're paying bills AND making dinner!"

The results are fantastic and it's a super simple application and standing by their promises, to make Idea Paint, all you do... is mix "This" with "That", literally... Curious?

Idea Paint has more photos and videos of their work in different spaces up on their website, and they now offer their product in more than just white, maybe grey would suit your space better, or how about orange? Now we just have to decide which wall to paint...

Wow it's super expensive. Just not worth it at all. I would think a dry erase board on a wall would entertain a child just as much as dry erase paint on a wall.

we bought a dry-erase sticker - about 2 sq. ft. for under $10 at the hardware store. Same result. Can't beat the price, and no need to paint (like when you are not supposed to paint the walls). But cute video, thanks for sharing

a good quality white board that doesn't ghost will cost just as much, and isn't nearly as interesting ... I think it's fantastic ... love having a whole wall like that.
