Kids are messy. As new parents know, babies new to people food (and even those that aren't) can be predicatably relied upon to drop half of every meal on the floor around them.
While designer Emmanuel Babled may be better known for his glass and crystal work - he has worked with Baccarat and Covo, as well as a number of other companies - we think that new parents may come to know him best as the designer of the Tokey dustpan and broom set.
Its cheerful face makes clean-up a little more fun, and at just $20 the Tokey dustpan is an affordable way to add a little cheer to a dreary task. Who knows - you might even be able to convince the kids to help you!

I'm SO glad you're doing this!! It's been a long time coming. I sure hope there'll be "nursery tours" SOON!! (o:
Sorry to be a curmudgeon, but a "new cute dustpan" is not what I need. When you have a kid, you end up acquiring a lot of cute plastic stuff, even if you aim to be minimalist and actually prefer wooden toys. How about suggesting things one can buy for the nursery that might have a life beyond the baby's first two years? How about not focusing on silly novelty items like this one?
Having an opinion doesn't make you a curmudgeon! If you prefer wooden toys, I am working on something for next week that I hope you will like better than the Tokey post.
i LOVE dustpans, whisk brooms + plastic + orange + lime green + silly novelty items!
so this is great to me + would certainly outlive
baby's first years!
i think it's clever + cute!
