This idea has stuck with us since seeing it in Jim and Kari's Evanston house tour. With a simple set of IKEA curtains, the family created a stage in the backyard for the kids. Here's what we love:
Create a Stage With a Pair of Curtains
- No actual stage is required (no need to build anything!)
- The stage could be as large or as small as your outdoor space allows (just buy or make the appropriate sized curtains)
- The curtains can add some great visual interest and a ton of fun.

I did this in a little nook in our apartment. I put a curtain on a curtain rod and my little girls had their very own stage. They loved it!
