Baby Tender Rocking Cradle

2009-06-24-boat.jpg

For those of you who really want something different, check out the Baby Tender Rocking Cradle. It's a true replica of a ship made into a cradle.

We love the craftsmanship and the coziness of this cradle. It's made of cypress planked on a mahogany backbone with a lacewood transom. The suspension system is made of mahogany, but you can customer order the cradle in different woods and finishes. The cradle can even be placed on a wagon base (sold separately) for when your child is older. As you might have guessed, this custom piece will set you back a bit - $3200 to be exact. Check out Beaver Boatwork's Etsy shop for more details.

Wow, that is SO cool. I would really love to have one of those for a baby when I have one, but I don't think $3,200 will ever be in any baby budget of mine, unless he or she can drive it to school when they're older.
