Culla Sinuè

2009-06-22-culla.jpg

We spotted this over at MocoLoco yesterday. Forget about traditional bassinet and check out this egg-shaped structure by Daniela Avaltroni.

The Culla Sinuè features a hood that can be moved to provide shade and quiet. The bassinet is set on compression springs on top of stainless steel legs. What do you think of the look - sleek and modern or too cold?

It reminds me of the egg space ship from Mork & Mindy.

Looks like a pill capsule. I can't see putting a sweet little infant in one of those.

Witty, but what about air circulation?

I'll stick with our vintage Lloyd Loom bassinet.
